In diesem Jahr gr\u00fcndete Johannes Wehr ein Dachdeckergesch\u00e4ft in Vreden. Wenige Jahre sp\u00e4ter &#8211; im Jahre 1932 &#8211; erfolgte die Umsiedlung nach S\u00fcdlohn. Die Zwillingss\u00f6hne Hubert und Heinz Wehr erlernten in Ahaus Anfang der 1940er Jahre ebenfalls den Beruf des Dachdeckers. Gegen Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurde Hubert Wehr noch zur Wehrmacht eingezogen. Nach R\u00fcckkehr aus dem Kriegsdienst trat Hubert Wehr in das elterliche Dachdeckergesch\u00e4ft ein.<\/p>\n<p>Das Erscheinungsbild eines Hauses wird im wesentlichen durch die Ausf\u00fchrungsart des Daches bestimmt. Fachliche Beratung mit dem Ziel der Substanzerhaltung und Aufwertung bestimmt heute das Leistungsspektrum des Bedachungsbetriebes. Dies ist Grundlage jeder Arbeit. Hier sind vielf\u00e4ltige unterschiedliche Schwerpunkte zu ber\u00fccksichtigen. Das Leistungsspektrum umfasst alle Arbeiten, die rund ums Dach zu leisten sind. Neben dem normalen Ein- und Zweifamilienhaus der l\u00e4ndlich strukturierten Geb\u00e4udearchitektur wird eine Vielzahl spezieller L\u00f6sungen erarbeitet und angeboten: Flachdachabdichtung, Kaminbekleidungen und Flachdachbegr\u00fcnung geh\u00f6ren zum Leistungsumfang. Die&#8220; Menke M\u00fchle&#8220; und das &#8222;Haus Lohn&#8220; in S\u00fcdlohn sind markante Beispiele ausgef\u00fchrter Dachdecker-Qualit\u00e4tsarbeiten durch das Unternehmen Wehr.<\/p>\n<p>Seit 1997 wird das Unternehmen in dritter Generation von Dachdeckermeister Reinhard Wehr und seiner Frau Rita Wehr als Betriebswirtin des Handwerks gef\u00fchrt. 1999 erfolgte die Verlegung der Betriebsst\u00e4tte an den Weseker Weg in S\u00fcdlohn. Die Namen der Autobesitzer konnte man an zwei H\u00e4nden abz\u00e4hlen: Dr. Meimberg, der Busunternehmer Paul Gehling, der Bierverlag Robers und wenige andere geh\u00f6rten dazu.
