Alteingesessene Betriebe haben geschlossen, neue sind entstanden. Die Anzahl der Gastst\u00e4tten hat sich von urspr\u00fcnglich 20 auf weniger als die H\u00e4lfte reduziert.<\/p>\n<p>Als die Kirchen noch voll waren, waren auch die umliegenden Gasth\u00e4user nach dem Gottesdienstbesuch voll. Die Theken waren in 3-er Reihen besetzt. Man traf Bekannte und Nachbarn, tauschte Neuigkeiten aus und verga\u00df manches Mal den p\u00fcnktlichen Heimgang, um das Mittagessen einzunehmen. Bis in die Zeit um 1980 \/ 1990 begannen die Abendveranstaltungen um 20.00 Uhr. Um 01.00 Uhr war \u201ePolizeistunde\u201c. Heute geht es um 01.00 Uhr oft erst richtig los, daf\u00fcr f\u00e4llt dann der Kirchgang und Fr\u00fchschoppen am n\u00e4chsten Morgen aus.<\/p>\n<p>Die alten Traditionen sind weitgehend verloren gegangen. Das Freizeitangebot ist un\u00fcbersichtlich gro\u00df geworden. <strong>Fr\u00fchschoppen<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong> Skat spielen, Knobeln und Nachbarschaftstreffen waren jahrzehntelang ausreichend f\u00fcr einen wirtschaftlichen Gastst\u00e4ttenbetrieb. Heute reicht das nicht mehr. Etliche der alten Gastst\u00e4tten waren Nebenerwerbsbetriebe, die Betreiber konnten sich leicht umorientieren. Die bestehenden Gastst\u00e4tten haben sich auf ihre Art spezialisiert: Restaurant, Hotelbetrieb oder Festsaal sind Bestandteile der Gastst\u00e4ttenbetriebe.<\/p>\n<p>Die Gemeinde verf\u00fcgt immer noch \u00fcber eine Anzahl gut gef\u00fchrter Gastst\u00e4tten. Sch\u00f6n, dass es sie noch gibt.<\/p>\n<p><b>Der Gemeindearchivar Ulrich S\u00f6bbing sprach im Rahmen einer Veranstaltungsreihe des Heimatvereins am 04. Oktober 2012 zum Thema &#8222;Blick ins S\u00fcdlohner Milieu, Entwicklung der Gastst\u00e4tten&#8220;.
